320: Potato Salad Lunch Bento

It’s going to be a long and depressing school day tomorrow with two lab sessions (one in the morning and the other in the afternoon). Wanted to pack a nice homemade sandwich (in the lines of pita sandwich or even smoked salmon or nice chicken bits) for lunch tomorrow but I was lazy to leave the house to get these from the supermarket. So I made do with what’s available in the refrigerator and decided to make some potato salad.

Boiled 2 medium sized red skinned (leave the skins on) potatoes, toasted one ham slice and diced some celery. After which, they go altogether in a bowl where I dressed them with just a tiny glob of japanese mayonnaise (mayo’s unhealthy so just a little will do) and a tiny glob of japanese sesame (goma) dressing. After which, sprinkle with a LOT of sesame seeds on top.

TA-DAH. Lunch bento for tomorrow is done! Simple and good ol’ comfort food! (:

    I love your food ideas , so fast and easy. I can identify with u. A long long time ago, I had lab sessions like u too. These days I am a happy mom
